Industrial Waste Disposal & Industrial Recycling

Bear Environmental specializes in liquid hazardous waste disposal and non-hazardous waste disposal. From a 5,000-gallon tank clean out to those mystery totes and drums in the back of your warehouse, we can do it, and have done it before.

Bear Environmental will work with you to find the most environment friendly and cost-efficient solution. Using our large network of contacts, our industrial waste recycling goal is to find another use for a product before classifying it as waste.

Hazardous Wastes

Bear Environmental can handle all types of industrial waste disposal, including contaminated soil.  We will handle the excavation, transportation, and disposal of contaminated soils, including recycling fuel-impacted soil.

Our industrial waste disposal services include PFAS Disposal and AFFF Disposal.  We understand the unique risks associated with these remediations.

What is PFAS?

PFAS stands for polyfluoroalkyl substances.  It is the residual toxic chemical left in the soil or surface after the use of firefighting foam.  It is particularly hard to break down and dissolve, presenting a challenge to remediate. Although there are no current federal or state regulations around it, there is public concern about its toxicity.

PFAS Disposal

Because PFAS is a difficult compound to break down, it takes special techniques to address it.  Bear Environmental has the tools necessary to remove and dispose of it safely and effectively.

What is AFFF?

AFFF stands for Aqueous film forming foam.  It is extremely effective to extinguish high temperature fires, such as liquid fires.  AFFF is sometimes used as an agent to make water more effective at extinguishing a fire.  However, the residue it leaves is toxic and needs to be removed and disposed appropriately.

AFFF Disposal

Like PFAS, AFFF disposal is complex and can be difficult to remove.  Due to its toxicity, many government agencies are looking for ways to remove it before it can have an impact to public health. Bear Environmental  is able to remove AFFF and has the equipment and expertise to clean buildings where firefighting foam has been used.  We can effectively clean the area and take care of the AFFF disposal.  We dispose of it in a clean and safe manner without contaminating landfills or incineration.

Non HazardousWastes

The most important step of the remediate process is determining the type of waste that needs to be addressed.  If the waste is non-hazardous, there are many more options for cleaning and disposal.  Bear environmental can come to your site, determine what type of waste needs to be removed and provide you with the most cost effective plan for getting the job done.  We have many contacts and can provide you with options that will keep you compliant with all federal and state regulations. Industrial waste recycling may be an option too for disposing of non hazardous waste.
